Courtney Williams
Owner/ Advanced and UF Coach
Courtney started her passion with horses at the age of 3, with her first pony Molly Magee. Her parents couldn't keep her out of the pony's stall! Courtney has over 24 total years of riding, showing, training and farm management experience with Hunter/Jumpers on the East and West coasts. Courtney began her hunter training under Sherri O'Conner. She then rode with trainers Ruth Henry and Dana Ives of Timberlane Farms, starting many young horses and ponies throughout her junior career. Courtney also completed an internship under trainer Deborah Engle of Coto De Caza Equestrian Center in Southern CA.
Courtney has had much success and thrives on client satisfaction. She believes her success is based on the continued achievements of her horses as well as her students. Her focus has always been teaching proper Equitation technique and ensuring that riding and showing is affordable for each and every rider. Each of Courtney's students receives equal individualized attention, knowledge on basic
horse care, as well as the correct principals and fundamentals of riding. Courtney is a member of the ARIA, as well as USEF and USHJA. A key part of Courtney's lesson program is rewarding each student for their efforts and hard work and making them feel like part of a team, no matter what level of rider they are. Hunters Edge prides itself on being a "family barn". We have a wonderful team atmosphere where everyone is encouraging and supportive of others and it shows!
